99% of the time, I agree with the common lament that today's children are being over-coddled. When parents react to the smallest bump or bruise in the same way they would a genuine traumatic injury, or insulate their children from any possible danger no matter how remote, they fail to teach them valuable lessons in problem-solving of that kind.
