Renovations
I've cleaned up the blog a bit. Gone are the RSS feeds and links, added is a new Followers widget so you can everybody know what good taste you have in blogs. Perhaps more changes will come.

I don't know that getting rid of the links for your rss feeds is such a good move. If I didn't use the feed, I'd probably never check in. It's the technology by which most people check blogs.
No worries, I didn't get rid of the blog's RSS feed -- I had embedded an RSS reader into the sidebar, and pushed things from other RSS feeds I follow. It was a cool idea, but I wasn't keeping up with it.
What's wrong with strait up self promotion? :) There are widgets that allow people to follow what you're reading in blogland if that's how you roll (pull stuff from your reader). That way you can keep your own RSS feed *and* let people subscribe to what you're into.
