Poor Kenmore

I don't get to Kenmore Square very often, because I don't need to be in the Back Bay often. And when I do, it's easier to either drive into Brookline and walk the rest of the way, or take the bus to Cambridge and take the subway the rest of the way -- there's a bus that takes me to Kenmore but it's pretty unreliable.

But I was there the other day, and saw that Campus Camera is still gone, Burrito Max was turned into a Boca Grande (and was not, as I'd hoped, just being remodeled), and once again the entire street-level of the station is being torn up. I think that last one may be a good thing in the long run, but it still makes Kenmore feel like two cramped parallel lines instead of a square.

I think that overall the plan is to make Kenmore feel like an extension of the Hynes/Copley area, instead of the edge of Fenway (the neighborhood, not the ballpark), but frankly, I like the Fenway better.
