Oh yeah

I almost forgot: I found a cicada upside-down on the sidewalk today. I thought it was dead, so I turned it over to look at it (cicadas are HUGE), and it started crawling towards me -- or so I thought, but then it dropped into the space between two sections of the sidewalk. I let it climb up onto a stick, and then put it into the grass. I wish I had a camera, though -- it was easily longer than the first knuckle of my thumb. As I'm looking through cicada photos on the web, it seems to me that the one I found had a fungal infection, since its underside was white and somewhat cottony, instead of having a solid chitinous appearance.
