I need me a new job

So I'm still having no luck improving my work situation. Part of the problem is that I just haven't seen any jobs worth applying for in the past few months -- Boston is, academically speaking, one of the biggest cities in the world, but almost all the science and technology jobs are in biotech, an area I have no experience or interest.

Another part is that I can't say my career goals are entirely clear anymore. Two or three years ago, I would have been happy with a regular education or husbandry position at the aquarium. Now, having been stuck in part-time or temp positions basically since I've started, I think it's pretty foolish of me to believe there's any real opportunity for me there.

So looking beyond that, I have two choices: a job that keeps me on this same path, involved in environmental/marine sciences in some fashion, that will either lead to a solid career or improve my standing as a potential grad student, or I can find a job that gives me the chance to focus on some other interest, despite having no formal experience in anything else I enjoy doing.

But unfortunately, given either of those two options, I still haven't had any luck finding anything worth applying for, so I admit, I am at a loss.
